Terms of service.

In using this website you are deemed to have read, understood and agree to the following terms and conditions.

The following terminology applies to our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and any other Agreements: “Client”, “Patient”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We” and “Us”, refers to the Company (Skin You’re In Ltd.). “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

The content of this website is for general information and educational purposes only and to help individuals decide on whether to be seen at Skin You’re In Ltd; it is not meant to be medical advice and not be a substitute for in-person consultation, diagnosis and/or treatment. All questions regarding your medical or mental health issues should be directed in-person to qualified medical professionals such as during your appointment, your GP or emergency medical services.

Under no circumstances will we be liable for any loss or damage including damage to health or appearance caused by readers’ reliance on information obtained through the site, from third parties or a linked site, or readers’ reliance on any product or service obtained from us or a third party.

Use of this website is at user’s sole risk. No information obtained by you from this website or through email shall create any warranty or put Dr Sethi or Skin You’re In Ltd at risk.

All treatments are subject to assessment by the practitioner and will depend on your suitability for the treatment. We may ask you to verify your details by asking for your passport or driving license to ensure we are not treating underage clients.

All offers and discounts are subject to clinic availability as well as assessment by the practitioner.

All treatment courses have an expiry date of 12 months (unless stated otherwise) from the date of purchase and must be redeemed prior to the expiry date or will be invalid unless you can provide a medical letter to support the extension of any treatment courses.

Payment

Please note that Skin You’re In Ltd provides private services (not covered by the NHS) although if necessary we can liaise with your NHS GP or NHS Services via a written letter if you wish for a small charge of the letter (£50) plus usual agreed fees.

Please note that medications/prescriptions are not included in our fees. These will incur a private prescription charge with the chemist, this can vary from chemist to chemist and sometimes it is worth comparing prices with a few chemists. Please also note that blood tests and other lab samples (e.g. nail/skin scrapings, skin swabs, biopsies etc.) will incur an additional charge.

Bookings

We require 48 working hours’ notice to change an appointment or 48 hours notice to cancel an appointment to avoid your fee being forfeited. This can be arranged by emailing us at ‘info@skinyourein.co.uk’. Any bookings made within 48 hours of the appointment date and time are subject to the same terms as described above.

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you may not be seen as this may cause other clients who arrive on time problem and disrupt the smooth running of the day.

For frequent non-attendance or cancellation/re-scheduling with less than 48 hours notice, we reserve the right to not issue another appointment.

Skin Products

You have the right to refuse all treatment and advice. This includes skin care products. However when you purchase and pay for the products these are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Termination of Agreements and Refunds Policy

Both the client/patient and ourselves have the right to terminate any Service Agreement for any reason, including the ending of services that are already underway however we have a no refund policy on all treatments and products. No refunds shall be offered, where a Service is deemed to have begun and is, for all intents and purposes, underway.

Availability

To arrange an appointment please book through the online booking platform. Availability of appointments cannot be guaranteed. Please contact your GP or attend A&E in cases of an emergency.

Please note that from time to time the website may be down due to website maintenance.

Opinions expressed or material appearing on such websites are not necessarily shared or endorsed by us and should not be regarded as the publisher of such opinions or material. We are committed to high quality care for all as a core principle of our vision and purpose. We will ensure that patients and their representatives can seek advice, provide feedback or make a complaint about the services we commission or the policies we have developed and implemented. All complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and be investigated and reported back to you after 10 working days.

These terms and conditions form part of the Agreement between the client/patient and ourselves. Your accessing of this website and/or undertaking of a booking or buying products from us directly indicates your understanding, agreement to and acceptance, of the Disclaimer Notice and the full Terms and Conditions contained herein. Your statutory Consumer Rights are unaffected.

Notification of Changes

The Company reserves the right to change these conditions from time to time as it sees fit and your continued use of the site will signify your acceptance of any adjustment to these terms. If there are any changes to our privacy / T&Cs, we will announce that these changes have been made in these Terms & Conditions or on other key pages on our site. You are therefore advised to re-read this statement on a regular basis.

Release of Treatment Records

We encourage clients to take photos of products such as dermal fillers used at the clinic for continuity of care. If you would like copies of your exact treatment records this carries a charge of £50 administration cost as this is a service outside of our appointment. You will need to sign a consent form to release your medical information.

Verbal or Written Abuse

We are an extremely friendly and professional clinic. We respect our clients immensely and work very hard for you and your skin. In return we do expect politeness and avoidance of abuse verbally and in writing. An aggression or abuse will not be tolerated.

3.1 Personal information submitted to us through our website will be used for the purposes specified in this policy or on the relevant pages of the website.

(a) administer our business and website;
(b) personalise our website for you;
(c) provide services to you;
(d) send you goods purchased through our website;
(e) send statements, invoices and payment reminders to you, and collect payments from you;

(h) send you our email newsletter, if you have requested it (you can inform us at any time if you no longer require the newsletter);

3.3 If you submit personal information for publication on our website, we will publish and otherwise use that information in accordance with the licence you grant to us.

4 Disclosing personal information
4.1 We may disclose your personal information to any of our employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, suppliers or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this policy.
4.2 We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group of companies (this means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and all its subsidiaries) insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this policy.

(c) in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk);

4.4 Except as provided in this policy, we will not provide your personal information to third parties.

5 Retaining personal information
5.1 This Section 5 sets out our data retention policies and procedure, which are designed to help ensure that we comply with our legal obligations in relation to the retention and deletion of personal information.
5.2 Personal information that we process for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes. Medical information relating to any treatments you have with us will be kept in accordance to British Medical Association guidance: for 8 years after the conclusion of treatment or the person was deceased.
5.3 Without prejudice to Section 5.2, names, addresses and emails details that have not been used for repeat business with or marketing material from Skin You’re In Ltd (i.e. newsletters, mail-outs etc) within 10 years of first registration on our website will be deleted from our server from time to time.
5.4 Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Section 5, we will retain documents (including electronic documents) containing personal data:
(a) to the extent that we are required to do so by law;
(b) if we believe that the documents may be relevant to any ongoing or prospective legal proceedings; and
(c) in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk).

6 Security of personal information
6.1 We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.
6.2 We will store all the personal information you provide via our website booking system on Squarespace’s secure (password protected) servers.
6.3 All electronic financial transactions entered into through our website will be protected by encryption technology if we start to use this.
6.4 You acknowledge that the transmission of information over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.

7 Amendments
7.1 We may update this policy from time to time by publishing a new version on our website.
7.2 You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes to this policy.
7.3 We may make changes to this policy. This will be noted by a revision number at the end of each document. It is not our policy to notify users by email or through the private messaging system on our website.

8 Your rights
8.1 You may instruct us to provide you with any personal information we hold about you; provision of such information will be subject to:
(a) the payment of a fee; and
(b) the supply of appropriate evidence of your identity (for this purpose, we will usually accept a photocopy of your passport certified by a solicitor or bank plus an original copy of a utility bill showing your current address).
8.2 We may withhold personal information that you request to the extent permitted by law.
8.3 You may instruct us at any time not to process your personal information for marketing purposes.
8.4 In practice, you will usually either expressly agree in advance to our use of your personal information for marketing purposes, or we will provide you with an opportunity to opt out of the use of your personal information for marketing purposes.

9.2 We have no control over, and are not responsible for, the privacy policies and practices of third parties.
